A Colombo architect designed Villa Solara for a family who wanted the whole house to feel like a veranda. The living spaces open on three sides, the bedrooms look onto the garden, and every path through the house ends at the pool.
A small team looks after you: a host who arranges everything from tuk-tuks to boat trips, a chef who cooks breakfast to order, and housekeeping while you’re at the beach.

Villa Solara is reserved as one entire property for your group. The bedrooms aren’t booked separately, so you never share the house, the pool or the garden.

We came for five nights and stayed eight. Waking up to the pool and the sea, with breakfast already on the table, is something we’ll be chasing for years.

Good to know
- Is the villa only booked whole?
- Yes. Villa Solara is always reserved as one entire property, so your group has the house, pool and garden to itself.
- Is there a minimum stay?
- Two nights. Longer stays are welcome; online requests in this demo go up to 28 nights.
- How many guests can stay?
- Up to eight, in four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
- Is breakfast included?
- Yes. Our chef cooks breakfast each morning. Lunch and dinner can be arranged on request.
- Is the pool safe for children?
- Children are very welcome. The pool is not fenced, so young children need an adult with them at all times.
- What time can we arrive?
- Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is by 11 am. Your host will meet you at the gate.
